AuthZed Adds Authorization Support for RAG and Agentic AI for MSSPs and Enterprises

AuthZed has expanded its authorization platform to address growing security challenges in enterprise AI, including new support for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic AI systems, reports SiliconANGLE. For MSSPs building or managing AI-driven environments on behalf of clients, the update offers a path to enforce strict access controls and reduce risk across AI workflows.

As AI systems interact with sensitive customer data and execute autonomous actions, the complexity of authorization increases. AuthZed’s open-source permissions engine, SpiceDB, helps MSSPs handle this at scale. The system supports trillions of access rules and real-time enforcement, enabling providers to deliver secure AI services with built-in visibility and control.

RAG-based solutions benefit from AuthZed’s ability to filter documents before embedding, post-process vector search results, and sync permissions with enterprise platforms. Agentic AI introduces additional challenges around delegated authority and task execution.
